AllBright Partner Chen Ke advises Changzhou Kangdi in Recent Acquisition
2014-02-1810393AllBright recently represented Changzhou Kangdi Medical Stapler Co., Ltd. (Kangdi) in its successful acquisition by Covidien, a multinational enterprise engaged in the sale and manufacture of healthcare products.
Kangdi specializes in the manufacture of surgical medical equipment and is located in the Changzhou National Hi-Tech District. Kangdi is a leader in domestic medical stapler production. The acquisition will substantially enhance Kangdi’s ability to advance its sales, management and research and development.
AllBright partner Dr. Chen Ke, associate Yan Weijie, and legal assistants Ms. Chen Tinting and Mr. Wu Yong advised Kangdi on the transaction. Dr. Chen’s legal team was invited to attend the opening ceremony marking Kangdi and Covidien’s global strategic cooperation in February, 2014.
