Dr. Chen mainly practices in international M&A, cross-border investment, international trade and corporate finance matters.

With education background and working experience in China and abroad, Dr. Chen is experienced in international M&A, cross-border investment, international trade and corporate finance matters. Dr. Chen has provided overall legal services, including transaction structuring, due diligence, drafting and review transaction documents, to many international investors, international companies, domestic companies and financial institutions in M&A project, investment and financing projects, venture capital and international trade.

For example, Dr. Chen represented Covidien-Kangdi M&A project. He has represented ZF Friedrichshafen AG, Rothenberger AG and other foreign companies for investment project and equity financing in China. He has represented Delixi for the cross-border M&A project with Schneider Electric SA. He has advised Shangdong Nuclear Power Company on the completion of a project financing plan worth more than RMB 60 billion. He has represented ICBC Shanghai in the biding program and syndicated loan and guarantee for the petroleum pipeline program in Caspian Sea. He has represented JinJiang (Shanghai) in acquisition of HUBS One Interactive HK Limited. He has provided long-term legal counsel to Keyyang in Korea and Huayu Eds.

Dr. Chen is the author of two books on Chinese company law and labor law.
