AllBright Beijing Office Co-hosts WTO Dispute Resolution Seminar
2013-08-2611119On August 23, 2013, AllBright and four other elite PRC law firms, together with the Ministry of Commerce (“MOFCOM”), hosted a seminar on the WTO dispute resolution mechanism at AllBright’s Beijing office. The other leading PRC law firms were King & Wood Mallesons, JT&N, Zhong Lun Law Firm, and Gaopeng and Partners.
Under MOFCOM’s guidance, the seminar focused on the implementation of WTO dispute rulings and practices of China and other WTO members. The seminar was well received by MOFCOM officials as it offered a platform to deepen communications and coordination between China’s leading lawyers with foreign practices. The officials also encouraged more events of this type among participating law firms in order to strengthen communication between regulators and attorneys, and also to keep relevant parties updated on the latest developments and hot topics in the international trade practice.
The seminar was hosted by AllBright partner Fu Donghui. AllBright senior counsel Feng Xuewei and partners Li Fayin and Li Ye delivered speeches during the event.
