YANG, Tao
Senior Partner
Yang Tao is a partner at AllBright Law Offices in Beijing. His practice areas include cross-border mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investment, private equity investment, and general corporate matters.
Mr. Yang has represented many well-known international and domestic financial institutions and multinationals. He has advised these companies on handling their strategic investments, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and other legal affairs. He has also represented numerous large state-owned enterprises and private enterprises in handling their restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and other legal affairs. Mr. Yang has also advised a number of private equity investment funds on making foreign direct investments in China.
Prior to joining AllBright, Mr. Yang worked at several well-known international law firms and also served as in-house counsel at several multinationals.
Mr. Yang graduated with a B.A. from the University of International Relations andreceived an LL.M. in international economic law from the University of International Business and Economics School of Law. He later obtained an LL.M. from the Northwestern University School of Law.
Mr. Yang is a practicing lawyer in China. His working languages are Mandarin and English.
