James Hu is a senior partner at AllBright Law Office in Beijing. His practice areas include securities, capital markets and mergers acquisitions, and he has over fifteen years’ professional experience in these areas. In the practice areas of securities issuance and capital markets, Mr. Hu has advised plenty of IPO and bond issuance cases in both domestic and overseas stock exchanges, including Shanghai Stock Exchange, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Singapore Stock Exchange, London Stock Exchange, Frankfurt Stock Exchange and Toronto Stock Exchange. In the practice area of mergers acquisitions, Mr. Hu has handled plenty of cross-board A and PE investment cases for foreign investors and domestic companies. He also respectively serves as member of the investment decision-making committees and risk control committees of several PE fund companies. Mr. Hu received his LL.B. from Peking University in 2001 and LL.M. from the University of Essex in UK in 2002. Mr. Hu previously worked in other reputable PRC law firms before joining AllBright Law Office. Mr. Hu is a practicing lawyer in China and is qualified as an independent director by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. His working languages are Chinese mandarin and English.
