DavidLiu is a partner at AllBright Law Offices in Shenzhen. His practice areas include real estate, construction, corporate, and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Liu has spent the better part of two decades focusing on real estate matters, including litigation and non-litigation dispute resolution cases, land transfers, development, demolition and compensation, and project and disposal contracting. He also has extensive experience with corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, private equity investment, financing guarantees, pre-listing consultations, and criminal defense.

Mr. Liu was previously a deputy president and general manager of a large-scale real estate and investment enterprise where he was in charge of investment and risk management.

Mr. Liu is currently a director of the Guangdong Bar Association and Shenzhen Bar Association, and is a member of the real estate and construction engineering committee of the Shenzhen Bar Association. He is a legal expert for the Shenzhen Construction Industry Association and Shenzhen Expert Confederation, chief legal counsel of Taiwan Merchant Association of Shenzhen. He has been ranked as a Top 10 Excellent Professional Lawyer in Shenzhen for 2011-12.

Mr. Liu received his undergraduate degree from Nankai University and then obtained an MBA from the Macao University of Science and Technology. He obtained his LL.D. from the China University of Political Science Law.
