On July 30, 2013, the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Justice and All China Lawyers Association held an event to conclude the 1st “Pro Bono Initiatives” program and commence the next phase. The organizers honored 33 lawyers fully committed to pro bono services under the program, including AllBright partner David Tang.

Since 2011, the organizers have led veteran lawyers nationwide to provide pro bono services such as offering legal information or services to the underprivileged in less developed regions.

During the program, Mr. Tang paid a visit to Tunchang County in Hainan Province, offering legal information to the locals and attending to their legal concerns.

In addition to his work as a corporate attorney at AllBright, Mr. Tang has always played a prominent role in providing pro bono services to the underprivileged.
