AllBright Law Offices Participated in FTZ Job Fair for Foreign Students to Recruit Talented Professionals
2017-05-168193On May 10, 2017, the Second Overseas Students Job Fair of Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone (Shanghai FTZ) was held by Pudong Human Resources and Social Security Bureau in Pudong Talent Exchange Center. AllBright Law Offices attended this event to recruit foreign professionals.
Many foreign legal elites participated in this recruitment fair. Some students hold Bachelor degrees in Law both in China and their own countries. Some have a background of economics and finance. Some of the applicants used to work or to be interns in foreign law firms. Some interviewees even have multiple industrial backgrounds like sports, cultures, entertainment, education and investment. Through communication with foreign applicants, AllBright Law Offices had a deeper understanding of the advantages and shortcomings of foreign professionals, which facilitated the recruiter to find the most suitable candidates. Moreover it enhanced the law firm’s prestige among foreign students.
It was reported that 260 foreign applicants from 32 different countries participated in this event. Many of them come from prestigious universities like Shanghai Jiaotong University, Fudan University and Tongji University, etc. This event has been the largest job fair in Shanghai FTZ for now, with a total of 269 positions offered by 39 employers, including a variety of industrials, e.g. communications, logistics, tourism, education, research, trade, consulting, etc. The success of job fair relies on favorable policies and practical measures released recently to encourage foreign students to reside in Shanghai. AllBright Law Offices will make full use of favorable policies and platforms in Shanghai FTZ to attract foreign professionals, and expand its international prestige as well.
