AllBright Advises Huading Nylon to Win a Zero Anti-dumping Duty from Brazil
2013-09-249809On September 12, 2013, Brazil’s Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade decided to levy a four-month provisional anti-dumping duty on nylon filament yarn originating from the PRC, Thailand and Taiwan, effective from September 16. AllBright’s Beijing office advised Yiwu Huading Nylon Co., Ltd. (“Huading Nylon”) on the case and helped Huading Nylon to stand out as the only company to obtain a zero anti-dumping duty from Brazil. Other PRC companies under investigation all faced an anti-dumping levy, varying between US$237.86/ton to US$2,409.11/ton.
In addition, Brazil’s original announcement also indicated that Huading Nylon was the only manufacturer that obtained a zero anti-dumping duty among the 40-plus companies under investigation in the PRC, Thailand, and Taiwan
