AllBright Client Wins Lowest Duty Rates from EU Anti-Dumping Investigations
2015-01-2910653On January 29, 2015, the European Union announced its sunset review and interim review ruling of anti-dumping investigations against citric acid imports from the People’s Republic of China. AllBright’s client Laiwu Taihe Biochemistry Co., Ltd. won the lowest duty rates once again, paving the way for the company’s sound development in the next five years.
Laiwu Taihe obtained market economy treatment (MET) status to enjoy low duty rates in the initial investigation. EU’s complaint initiated the interim review especially against Laiwu Taihe, aiming to force it to face the same duty rates levied on other Chinese corporations. After a year’s efforts, AllBright’s representation enabled Laiwu Taihe to continue enjoying the lowest duty rates.
