AllBright Client Foshan Lighting Completes Acquisition Deal
2014-06-2311648AllBright client Foshan Electrical Lighting Co., Ltd. (000541.SZ) recently completed its acquisition of Suzhou Mont Lighting Co., Ltd. and has changed the related business registration documents accordingly.
Foshan Lighting was among the first batch of Guangdong companies to be listed in both A-share and B-share markets in 1993. Since its IPO, the company has been focusing on lighting product R&D, manufacturing and sales businesses. It is the bellwether of China’s electric light source products industry and known as the “Light King of China”.
Suzhou Mont is well-known for lighting product R&D and has been licensing its patents to Foshan Lighting. After the acquisition, Suzhou Mont will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Foshan Lighting. It will complement the parent company with its R&D capability and technology reserves in LED lighting as well as to guarantee Foshan Lighting will continue using its patents in mainstream lighting products.

Their services included due diligence investigations, designing of investment expansion plan and drafting the related transaction documents.
