Laura Zhao is a partner at AllBright Law Offices in Shanghai. Her practice areas include banking and finance, corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and dispute resolution.

Since joining AllBright in 2006,Ms. Zhaohas represented banks in nearly one hundred financing deals, helped foreign banks perform feasibility studies, and assisted in the development of new types of financial products. She routinely provides legal services to insurance and trust companies and to assist in inter-bank cooperation. Ms. Zhao handles financial transactions covering many industries such as maritime, power plant, commercial real estate, diamond trading, farm produce, minerals, and petrochemical products. She also has considerable experience in the reorganization and A of financial institutions and companies. She haspreviously adviseda prominent foreign bank on completing the restructuring of its branches in China.

Ms. Zhao graduated from the Nanjing University School of Law with a LL.M. in 2006.

Ms. Zhao has published many legal papers, includingLegal Analysis of the Practice of Securing Financing by Using Bonded Goods.

Ms. Zhao is a practicing lawyer in China. Her working languages are Mandarin and English.
