Mr. Xuezhong Lu is an equity partner of Allbright Law Offices with his base in Shanghai.

Mr. Lu is specialized in outbound investment, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, corporate financing, private equity and venture capital investment, real estate investment and financing, medical and healthcare, etc. Mr. Lu has participated in a series of cross-border transactions on behalf of numerous well-known international and domestic enterprises, including overseas investment by domestic enterprises, implementation of cross-border M&A transactions, domestic restructuring, establishment of foreign direct investment projects in the form of wholly foreign-owned enterprise, sino-foreign equity joint venture and sino-foreign cooperative joint venture, private equity and venture capital financing and debt financing, real estate development, operation, investment and financing, investment, financing and compliance operation of medical and healthcare enterprises, etc.

Mr. Lu has provided legal services to international and domestic clients, including Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), Continental AG, 3i Group plc, Prudential Financial, Boehringer Ingelheim, Rockwood Holdings, Warburg Pincus, Everbright Ashmore, TPG Investment, Hines, ESR, Dongjiu China, Fraser Property, Related, Jones Lang LaSalle, Continent Insurance, Krka, Dainippon Sumitomo Pharma (DSPC), Fudan-Zhangjiang, Hainan Airlines, Lear Corporation, Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Tianqi Lithium, etc.

Before joining AllBright Law Offices, Mr. Lu worked in Zhong Lun Law Firm for over ten years.

Mr. Lu was educated in Chinese and American law schools. He received his LL.M. degrees from Columbia University in 2016, and another LL.M. and LL.B. from East China University of Political Science and Law respectively in 2008 and 2005.

Mr. Lu is admitted to both PRC Bar and New York State Bar. He is fluent in Mandarin and English.
