Dr. Stone Shi's main practice areas include international trade and customs law, cross-border investment, and foreign-related dispute resolution. In addition, Dr. Shi has a solid theoretical foundation and rich practical experience in private equity funds, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), fiscal and tax compliance optimization, as well as litigation and arbitration. Mr. Shi is a recommended lawyer by rating agencies such as Chambers, Legalband, and Legal 500. He is an insurance private equity fund evaluation expert of the China Insurance Asset Management Association and an arbitrator of the Shanghai International Arbitration Center and the Shanghai Arbitration Commission.
Dr. Stone Shi graduated from the School of International Law of East China University of Political Science and Law, where he obtained a bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree in law. He later received a master's degree from the University of California, Berkeley (U.S.), and an EMBA from the PBC School of Finance at Tsinghua University.
International Trade and Customs Law
