Terry Yin is a partner at AllBright Law Offices in Shanghai. His practice areas include corporate M&A, cross-border transactions, litigation and arbitration. Mr. Yin is experienced in providing legal service on foreign investment, company merger and acquisition, investment and financing.

Before joining law firms, Mr. Yin previously provided legal services as in-house legal counsel in large-sized real estate companies and chemical enterprises. From the year of 2012, Mr. Yin started practicing in a Shanghai law firm specializing in franchising areas. Mr. Yin joined Allbright at the end of the year 2013. Mr. Yin is much experienced on the legal matters relevant to real estate development, commercial housing sales, transfer of Shopping malls and office buildings. Apart from focusing on compliance, acquisition and merger business in the chemical industry, Mr Yin is also familiar with the legal compliance, merger and acquisition, foreign investment business of retail, hotel, supermarket, school, education, training and other chain industries.

Mr. Yin has successfully handled a number of lawsuits and arbitration cases involving equity disputes, contract disputes of companies, etc., including EPC contract disputes, real estate project transfer disputes, joint venture contract disputes, and equity transfer contract disputes and effectively safeguarded the rights of his clients in a majority of these suits and cases.

• Mr Yin graduated from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics with a bachelor degree in law.
• Mr Yin graduated from Emory University in the U.S. with a master degree in law.
