Jory Dai is a partner at AllBright Law Offices in Shanghai. His practice areas include dispute resolution, real estate and construction and banking and finance.

Mr. Daiis very experienced in handling civil, administrative and criminal lawsuits, real estate and construction projects, banking, securities, insurance, trust and

(public) placement, equity fund cases, brand authorization and management projects of international hotel groups as well as traditional media, new media types and intellectual property dispute cases. Mr. Dai has provided legal services to large-sized state-owned enterprise groups and companies, multinational companies, overseas enterprises and several industry associations. He has also acted as legal counsel for Economic Cooperation Association of the Shanghai Offices of Provinces, Municipalities, Autonomous Regions, Ministries and Commissions.

Before Mr. Dai joined AllBright in 1999, he worked at a major law firm in Shanghai. He also founded one of the original firms that later mergedto formAllBright.

Mr. Dai studied at the former Electrical Mechanical Branch of Shanghai Jiao Tong University during 1979-1982 (predecessor to the Shanghai University of Engineering Science). He also studied economic law at a training class for lawyers handling foreign-related matters at Fudan University Law School in 1986-1989. Mr. Dai graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economic law specialty at Fudan University Law School.

Mr. Dai is a practicing lawyer in China. His working language is Mandarin.
