Senior Partner
Senior Partner/Attorney at law Ding Feng currently serves as the deputy director of the Corporate and Commercial Practice Research Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association, consulting expert on Civil and Administrative Cases of the Supreme People's Procuratorate of the People’s Republic of China, visiting professor at the School of Economic Law, East China University of Political Science and Law, etc. He has been invited to teach corporate law and give lectures for Shanghai Bar Association and its Lawyers School, and more than 1000 people have attended.
He also participated in compiling the Group Standard T/CLAST001-2021 of China Law Association on Science and Technology — Guideline for Legal Compliance Assessment of Personal Information Processing, and professional books —The Lawyer’s Practice in Corporate Litigation, The Lawyer’s Practice in Limited Partnership (both used as textbooks of the Lawyer’s Practice Advanced Training Courses of Shanghai Bar Association), etc.
In addition, he participates in the work of the China Law Association on Science and Technology, Shanghai Information Network Security Administrative Association, etc., and of WG7- Information Security Management Working Group and SWG-BDS Big Data Security Standards Special Working Group of the National Information Security Standardization Technical Committee.
He focuses on fields of cyber security and data compliance, capital markets, investment and financing, M&A, etc., covering various industries of TMT, finance, medical and health care, commercial chain, manufacturing, etc. He has provided in-depth and comprehensive legal services in corporate governance, compliance, risk control, etc., especially for investment consultation, M&A due diligence, transaction planning, scheme design and implementation, equity incentive, etc.
His clients include Ctrip, MR Tech (Getui), Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, Agricultural Bank of China Credit Card Center, PING AN FinService, SMIC, JCET Semiconductor Integration (Shaoxing), etc. He has also provided legal support to a national ministry for Personal Information Protection Assessment Pilot Project Phase I, targeting first-tier e-commerce enterprises, and Phase II, targeting big data listed companies.
