Notice on Consultation Paper of Draft Amendment of Cybersecurity Review Measures Released

In accordance with the State Security Law of the People's Republic of China, the Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China, the Data Security Law of the People's Republic of China and other laws and regulations, Cyberspace Administration of China has, in concert with other relevant authorities, revised the Cybersecurity Review Measures (Draft Revision for Comment). The Draft Revision for Comment was issued on July 10, 2021 and the deadline for submitting comments was July 25, 2021.
Compared with the current Cybersecurity Review Measures, the Draft Revision for Comment includes the Data Security Law as one of the legislative basis. Meanwhile, the Draft Revision for Comment requires stricter supervision on cybersecurity review of data processing activities and overseas listing.
