CIETAC Issued Annual Report on International Commercial Arbitration in China (2021-2022)

On September 5, 2022, the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) issued the Annual Report on International Commercial Arbitration in China (2021-2022) (the “Annual Report”).
The Annual Report analyzes the data on international commercial arbitration cases in China in 2021 and tracks the theoretical research developments in commercial arbitration at home and abroad; at the same time, it compares and summarizes the judicial interpretations and judicial policies on commercial arbitration issued in China in 2021, typical cases of judicial review of arbitration in Chinese courts, the enforcement of extraterritorial arbitral awards, and the relevant legal issues involved.
The annual report reveals the current development of international commercial arbitration in China and is an important reference for the practice of foreign-related commercial arbitration.
