Nansha Consensus on Arbitration Cooperation among BRICS Countries Jointly Signed and Issued

On April 20, 2023, the Nansha International Arbitration Center of the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission sponsored the BRICS Arbitration Cooperation Forum in Huizhou. Representatives of participating BRICS arbitration institutions jointly signed and issued the “Nansha Consensus on Arbitration Cooperation among BRICS Countries” (the “Nansha Consensus”).
The Nansha Consensus plays an important role in promoting the integration and development of international arbitration systems worldwide and consolidating the consensus on mutual trust and cooperation in international arbitration. All institutions agree that modernization, internationalization, digitization, and intelligence of arbitration are the trend of the new era and will work together to promote quality of and spark innovation in international arbitration.
