AllBright Lawyers Deliver Keynote Speech on Cross-border M&A at a Business Forum
2014-09-305871On September 28, 2014, AllBright partners Ted Wu and Theresa Qiu were invited to join the Overseas Chinese Returned from Japan Gathering: China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone & Asia Pacific Economic Order Restructuring Forum organized by Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Senior government officials delivered speeches at the forum, including Zhou Hanmin, deputy chair of Shanghai CPPCC, Shen Min, Shanghai Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese Chair, and Cai Jianguo, Shanghai Returned Overseas Chinese Office Director. A particular favorite among scholars, business leaders, and legal practitioners was the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone & Cross-border Merger and Acquisition sub-forum. Mr. Wu delivered a speech on legal practice in cross-border mergers and acquisitions and answered the participants’ questions. Ms. Qiu presided over the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone & Service Sector Revolution and International Trade sub-forum.
