Hong Kong Bar Association Official Visits AllBright
2013-03-148363On March 8, 2013, Andrew Mak, Chairman of Mainland Affairs of the Hong Kong Bar Association, visited AllBright Law Offices in Shanghai and was warmly received by the AllBright Shanghai Office managing director Wu Mingde and AllBright partner Theresa Qiu.
During Mr. Mak’s stay, he held discussions with Mr. Wu and Ms. Qiu on the developing trends in the legal profession in Hong Kong and the PRC, the status quo of women lawyers in Hong Kong and the PRC, and the opportunities and challenges brought by the rosy prospective of the Hong Kong market to lawyers. The legal veterans also had a sincere discussion on the urgency and need for cooperation between Hong Kong and PRC law firms.
