After months of survey, ALB picked the top 15 female lawyers based on their years of practice, major achievements, significant transactions and cases as well as other relevant information.
Dr. Amy Fang YE is a senior partner at AllBright Law Offices in Shanghai. She has represented a number of multinational and well-known domestic enterprises and provided them with legal service in cross-border finance and investment in Shanghai Free Trade Zone (SH FTZ), banking and finance, entertainment law, mergers and acquisitions and dispute resolution etc. Dr. Ye earned her LL.B. from the East China University of Political Science and Law, LL.M. degrees from Tsing Hua University and the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii. She received her Ph.D. from the East China University of Political Science and Law. Dr. Ye is an honorary member of the International Department of the Hawaii State Bar Association, member of China Law Society, part-time legal counsel of Bonded Area Administration of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Administration, part-time Academic Advisor for Master Candidates of ECUPL (East China University of Political Science and Law), guest professor at Beijing Foreign Studies University Law School. Dr. Ye was awarded the Top Ten Outstanding Young Lawyers in Pudong New District, Shanghai and 2016 Shanghai Financial Talents Program by Shanghai government. She assisted with setting up a pioneer fund devoting to Hollywood movies investment in SH FTZ, and provided the fund with legal services on fund raising and investment. She has been working with Ping An Insurance Group and provided whole course legal services on the first Film Completion Guarantee project, a financial reform practice in SH FTZ. Additionally, she has provided legal services on crowdsourcing projects for a baseball team at Special Olympics and sponsored “Shanghai Charity Dream”. Her personal philosophy is “Practicing, helping, being light and salt”.
