AllBright Advises Client on Leasing Project
2013-07-2612038AllBright is proud to announce that it has successfully advised on a highway financial lease project which is now complete and loans have been extended. AllBright advised CDB Leasing on three highway financial lease projects involving 15 billion yuan (US$24.2 billion).
Headquartered in Shenzhen, CDB Leasing is a financing arm of China Development Bank. CDB Leasing, with a registered capital of 8 billion yuan, ranks as China’s largest financial leasing company, in terms of registered capital and total assets. The company, already active in aircraft leasing, is also a frontrunner in highway financial leasing as the first company operating such business.
AllBright partner Daniel Xu led a team of attorneys, including partner Alex Huang and Associates Candice Du and Peter Zhu, to advise CDB Leasing over the complete process of the transaction, including assets transfers, sales & lease back, and leases payable receivable transfers. Throughout the whole process, the AllBright team drafted contract documents, advised the client regarding contract terms, including transaction structure design, and issued various legal opinions necessary for the transaction.
