AllBright Helps Client Win Lower Anti-dumping Duty Rates
2014-06-057473On May 26, 2014, the Canada Border Services Agency concluded a re-investigation to update the normal values and export prices of certain unitized wall modules originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China. Shenyang Yuanda Aluminum Industry Engineering Co., Ltd. and its Canadian subsidiary, which were represented by AllBright during the investigation, successfully won lower anti-dumping duty rates in three out of the four products re-investigated. The companies won zero tariff rates for one of the products. According to the updated rates, Shenyang Yuanda can claim back part of the anti-dumping taxes it had paid to Canadian government.
This victory not only helped Shenyang Yuanda and its Canadian subsidiary win financial rewards, but it also laid a solid foundation for their future overseas expansion and development.
