EU Terminates Countervailing Duty Investigation against Chinese Polyester Short Fibers
2014-10-099239On October 3, 2014, the European Union’s European Commission announced that it will terminate its countervailing duty investigation against Chinese polyester short fibers (PSF) manufacturers because the level of export subsidies is at minimum level. AllBright client Zhejiang Anshun Pettechs Fibre Co., Ltd. is the only Chinese recycled PSF manufacturer which participated in the investigation.
This case is the first EU countervailing duty case that was terminated because of low subsidy levels. The final ruling will be issued no later than January 18, 2015.
