Mr. Xie worked in the procuratorate system in Sichuan Province after graduation from university and in the Shenzhen labor management department of after obtaining his master’s degree. He obtained his LL.B. in Economic Law from the Southwest University of Political Science and Law in 1989, an LL.M. from Renmin University of China in 1995 and an LL.D. from Renmin University of China in 2001. From 2004 to 2006, He studied for his MBO at the University of Aberdeen.

Mr. Xie is a practicing lawyer in China. His working languages are Mandarin and English. "
