Ding Qiwei is a partner at AllBright Law Offices in Shanghai. Her practice areas include securities and capital markets, corporate, and mergers and acquisitions.

Ms. Ding has advised clients on securities, project financing, corporate restructuring and mergers, trust, and corporate governance. She has served as legal counsel for securities companies, investment banking institutions, listed companies and other entities, handled many domestic IPOs, listed company refinancing, significant asset restructuring, and equity incentive projects. Ms. Ding has also participated in a number of large-scale infrastructure and environmental protection projects in Shanghai. She was also a key member of a legal team that successfully handled a share swap project between a Chinese insurance company and a US global asset management firm which was recognized by China Law Practice as one of the six most important A cases and six most important VC and PE cases in China in 2007.

Ms. Ding previously served as Director of Legal Teaching and Research Office at Shanghai International Studies University, Director of Investment Service Center at the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone Development Co., Ltd. and a partner at a law firm.

Ms. Ding obtained her LL.B. and LL.M. from East China University of Political Science and Law in 1985 and 1988 respectively.

Ms. Ding is a practicing lawyer in China. Her working language is Mandarin.
