Ms. Chen is a partner of AllBright Law Offices in Shanghai. Her primary practice areas include cross-border investment, M&A and corporate restructuring, general corporate & commercial matters, and litigation & arbitration

Ms. Chen has considerable experience presenting multinational and domestic companies in connection with their inbound and outbound investment projects, she works as leading deal counsel participating in discussion of project feasibility, advising on the structure of transactions and tax planning, conducting due diligence review, drafting transaction documents etc. In terms of industry and sector experience, Ms. Chen has worked on many deals in traditional manufacturing, pharmaceutical & hospital, consumer & retail, power & renewable energy and the financial services sector etc.

Ms. Chen also has a wealth of experience in commercial dispute resolution before the Courts and Arbitral Tribunals such as CIETAC and SHIAC, she has presented foreign and domestic companies in complex and high-value disputes arising from cross-board acquisition, joint venture investment, international trading, technology and trademark licensing etc.

• Represented various China-based companies in their acquisitions of hotel & real estate, brands and businesses outside of China
• Represented and advised several multinational enterprises on their industry M&A and FDI in China.
• Represented and advised Bank of China in syndicated loan project (the borrower is a prestigious real estate company in Hongkong).
• Represented a German company before CIETAC over the dispute in an international sales contract against a Chinese state-owned company.
• Represented a Cayman company (which listed in NASDAQ) before SHIAC (“Shanghai International Arbitration Center”) over the dispute in investment project against a domestic company.
• Represented a Dutch company before CIETAC (“China International Arbitration Centre”) over the dispute in an international sales contract with a Chinese listed company.
• Represented an American company before SHIAC over the dispute in an international sales contract against a Chinese company；
• Represented an Israeli company in a litigation over the shareholder’s information right dispute against joint venture and acted for the same client in the litigation and claims its shareholder’s qualification in JV is deprived by JV.
• Represented various Chinese companies before Chinese courts over the dispute arising from investment projects.

• Ms. Chen joined Allbright Law Offices in September 2017, prior to joining the firm, she was a partner of LongAn Law Firm for more than 5 years, and an associate of JunZeJun Law Firm for 3 years. She also worked as an in-house lawyer of a foreign-invested company in Shanghai for two years before working at law firms.
