Yu Langqiong is a partner at AllBright Law Offices in Shanghai, China.

Her practice areas include foreign investment, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, corporate law, international trade, and other related areas of corporate law. Ms. Yu serves a wide range of Fortune 500 enterprises representing areas from finance, retail, logistics, chemical engineering, machining, pharmaceuticals, light industry, tourism, and cultural media industry.

Ms. Yu graduated from Hangzhou University and majored in law. She then travelled to Japan in order to pursue further academic studies. Ms. Yu majored in civil law and graduated from the postgraduate school of Daitou University with a Master’s degree in law. Ms. Yu began practicing as an attorney in 2002 and joined AllBright Law Offices in 2015. While completing the J.D. courses in the postgraduate school of Daitou University, she was employed by notable Japanese companies and law offices. After returning to China in 2007, Ms. Yu worked as a Chinese law consultant in Shanghai representative office of a Japanese law firm.

Ms. Yu has a great deal of experience in litigation and non-litigation cases. Ms. Yu’s mastery of analyzing corporate law and commercial customs of both Chinese and Japanese corporations provides a strong understanding of the real demands facing Japanese enterprises and the important differences between corporations of the two countries. This way, Ms. Yu continuously provides effective solutions for her numerous clients.

Ms. Yu published the Chinese International Arbitration Guidance Manual with the Japanese Trade Promotion Association. Additionally, she wrote China's WTO Accession and Related Legal System Construction and was published by Akashi bookstore. Since 2003, she has also published about 10 articles in international trade, Intellectual property, land contracting system reform, preferential policies for foreign investment after entering the WTO, and labor contract law practice in Lawyers' Associations for Exchanges and various other Japanese and Chinese Magazines. Apart from these articles, she has been invited by JAPIT, Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Co., Ltd, Shanghai Nihon Tigin Association, and Takai Okazeri Law Firm to deliver speeches in Tokyo, Beijing ,and Shanghai by the Japanese Trade Association.

Ms. Yu is a practicing lawyer in China. Her working languages are Chinese and Japanese.
