Michael Liu is a partner at AllBright Law Offices in Shanghai. His practice areas include mergers and acquisitions, international trade, and corporate.

Mr. Liu has served as legal counsel for many domestic and overseas companies and handled the litigation and non-litigation affairs of a number of well-known companies.

Mr.Liu previously workedfor the Economic Tribunal of Changning District People’s Court, Shanghai and later served as an editor of the magazine Social Sciences which is published by the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences.

Mr. Liu graduated from the East China University of Political Science and Law with an LL.B. in 1983.

Mr. Liu has served as an editorial board member of the “Chinese Law Series”, participated in the compilation of aDictionary of Civil Law, and published several papers on social sciences and relevant legal publications.
