Du Xiaodong is a partner in AllBright’s Shenzhen office and a senior foreign consultant in Hong Kong office. His practice covers banking and finance, general corporate, capital markets, merger and acquisition and dispute resolution.

Mr. Du mainly focuses his practice on cross-border investment, financing, and related commercial transactions for institutional investors and international banks, providing advice in relation to PRC law. He also advises on a broad range of other transactions, including equity offerings and listings (in particular, Hong Kong IPOs), private equity investment, mergers and acquisitions, as well as cross-border litigation and dispute resolution.

Mr. Du has served as the perennial legal advisor for many PRC companies (with a specific focus on biopharmaceutical companies) and has represented a number of Hong Kong banks in loan financing projects and debt recovery works. He also provides legal services to many international funds, especially international real estate funds in acquiring PRC real estate projects and international equity funds in their investments in PRC enterprises.

Mr. Du joined AllBright as a partner in October 2005. Prior to that, he practiced law in the Hong Kong office of a global U.S. law firm.

Mr. Du is admitted to practice law in the PRC. He graduated from Wuhan University with dual degrees in both law and biology in 1995. His working language includes Mandarin and English.
